Anything Goes

We just got back from a fast and furious trip to New York City.  We had a phenomenal weekend. We went up to celebrate Jen's 40th 29th birthday. She's always wanted to see a play on Broadway so we went to see Anything Goes. We went with my best friend, Jen and her husband Brian and their good friends Greg and Carol.  We took the train up on Saturday morning, got to our hotel early afternoon. We relaxed, had some cocktails, and then checked in.  We got our ready clothes on and were off.

We had dinner at Bond 45 in Times Square. We all ate so much we thought we would all be sick. The portions were huge and everything was decadently delicious.  Our waiter was great. Scott had lasagna that filled his entire plate.

After dinner, we walked a short distance to the theatre for our show. Amazing!  Singing, dancing, and the set was beautiful.  We had fantastic seats (way to go Brian!) and we really enjoyed the show.
Finishing the show, around 10:45ish, we took a stroll to Times Square... with 2.5 million of our closest friends. That place was packed with people!

We made our way to the top of of the Marriott Marquis into The View restaurant and enjoyed a night cap (for those who could find room to ingest another single thing after gorging ourselves on dinner)  and enjoyed the skyline view of NY.

We saw the Naked Cowboy and when I asked Scott for the camera to take his picture, he refused to hand the camera over.  I believe he said something to the effect of, "We are NOT taking a picture of THAT!"

Thanks for a great weekend guys! We had a blast.

A huge thanks to Aunt Seets who spoiled our kids rotten this weekend and allowed us to go and enjoy our trip to NY.  They had a fun weekend, too.
