This morning I was on my morning walk and witnessed some of the sweetest moments ever! Today was the first day back to school where we live. I saw all ages of kids outside getting their first day of school photos taken. I saw the eager, smiling, thrilled, Kindergartners as well as a middle schooler who thought she would die of embarrassment while her mother told her to stand still so she could get her photo.
It occurred to me that I didn't get any photos of our first day, terrible mother that I am. Knowing my kids would be scarred for life if they didn't have first day of school photos, I rushed home and took some. Now I feel like less of a horrible mother.
