It's been a long, cold, winter. Spring has finally decided to show up and appears to be here to stay. I love the the flowers that slowly peak out and bloom. Daffodils, crocus, tulips, and my favorite spring-time sights, the tulip and cherry blossom trees and my lovely camellia bush. I love the color they bring after a long, bleak, colorless winter. Spring always fills me with hope. It reminds me of new beginnings.
This year spring has brought with it news of a new beginning for us as well. We received word that we will be headed back to the west coast this summer. We are sad to leave our friends and family here but are excited to see old friends we left behind at Edwards and look forward to meeting new ones as well.
Connor has started soccer and is happy to be back on the field and Jessica is getting behind the wheel more and more often with her learner's permit.
Spring Break is just around the corner and we are looking forward to a week of R&R spent with our family.
Happy spring, everyone!
