Connor's team lost by 1 point in the playoff game so football season (almost) ended last weekend. We've got another bowl game scheduled for this weekend and then the end of the season party the following weekend.
The kids had off from school Monday and Tuesday so Scott took those 2 days of so we could do some fun family stuff. On Monday we went to DC and visited the Smithsonian Art Museum and then branched off into a few other museums as well. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time.
Yesterday, we headed to Great Falls National Park. It was a phenomenally gorgeous weather day and we had a blast. We packed a lunch, did some hiking, and ate by the side of a stream in the woods. The Autumn colors were vibrant and beautiful and we all had a great time. It's been a long time since we've truly been able to experience and enjoy Autumn weather and sights and we are enjoying it.
