Thanksgiving

It's beginning to feel like Fall around here. The temps have dropped, the wind has picked up, and the leaves are starting to turn and fall. Scott says it's also good football weather.

A few weeks ago my best friend, Jennifer and her husband Brian, came out for a visit for a long weekend. It was so good to see them. We had a great visit. We ate way too much and just enjoyed each other. Thanks for making the trip all the way out to Edwards to us. I wish Maryland wasn't so far away.

We are having some friends over for Thanksgiving. As we have for the past 3 Thanksgivings our friends the Neilsen's will be joining us. You know your friends are like family when they say, "Are you guys going to be around for Thanksgiving this year? Since you're making the turkey, what do you want us to bring?" This will be our last Thanksgiving together for a while because they are leaving next summer for their next assignment. The Cooks are also joining us this year. We are looking forward to a great time.
